The calendar year 2019 (January-December) was again recorded as one of the hottest years with the only exception of the month of May which remained on historically more usual temperatures and which may be remembered, from a meteorological point of view, as the year of meteorological records. The pruning carried out at the end of February and at the beginning of March allowed us to contain the advance of the budding due to an extremely warm and dry winter with little fog and incredible temperature swings in March until the end of a particularly cold May. A very hot June, fortunately refreshed by some intense rains which committed us in the vineyards to a greater preventive care, led to an excellent harvest even though less abundant than last year's..
