The year 2021 continued to follow the trend of recent years, characterized by generally higher temperatures and low rainfall compared to the average of previous years. In particular, the first part of the year saw a lack of rain, which put a strain on our vineyards. However, the weather situation underwent a dramatic change with the arrival of unusually intense storm events just before the harvest, at the beginning of October. These storms had a significant impact, forcing us to intensify our interventions in the vineyard to maintain phytosanitary balance and ensure the health of the vines.

The 2021 harvest was particularly long and extended well into mid-October. We carried out a thorough harvesting process, adopting a meticulous approach to select the best grapes. Despite the challenges posed by the climatic conditions, the result was highly satisfying in terms of grape quality, which displayed remarkable structure and complexity, even though the quantity harvested was lower than usual expectations. This vintage offered grapes with great potential, promising wines rich in character and depth.
